Data & transparency

How AurevonPay handles personal information collected through this website and business enquiries.

  1. 01

    Who we are

Aurevon Pay Ltd. is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. Our Canadian business address is 6th Floor, 905 West Pender Street, Vancouver, BC V6C 1L6, Canada. Privacy enquiries may be sent to contact@aurevonpay.com with the subject line ‘Privacy enquiry’.

  2. 02

    Scope

This notice applies to this website and to information received when you contact us about our business, products, services, partnerships or onboarding. It does not replace any more specific privacy notice that may be provided during onboarding or under a service agreement.

  3. 03

    Information we collect

We may collect business contact details, your role and organisation, correspondence, enquiry details and other information you choose to provide. Our hosting, email and security providers may also process technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps and security logs. The public website does not currently provide customer accounts or an active application form.

Where you submit the website enquiry form, the fields collected are: your name, work email address, organisation, country or region, the enquiry category you select, and the message you write. No other field is collected, and the form does not profile you or build a record beyond the enquiry itself.

  4. 04

    How we use information

We may use personal information to respond to enquiries, assess a proposed business relationship, conduct appropriate due diligence, operate and secure the website, maintain business records, improve our communications, establish or defend legal rights, and meet legal or regulatory obligations.

  5. 05

    When information is shared

Information may be shared with service providers supporting hosting, email, security and business operations; professional advisers; competent authorities where required or permitted by law; and prospective service partners where necessary to assess or deliver an authorised relationship. We do not sell personal information.

  6. 06

    International processing

Some service providers may process or store information outside your province or country. In those circumstances, information may be subject to the laws and lawful-access requirements of the jurisdiction where it is processed. We seek to use appropriate contractual, organisational and technical safeguards.

  7. 07

    Retention and safeguards

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably required for the purposes described above, to meet legal or regulatory requirements, or to establish or defend claims. We use safeguards proportionate to the sensitivity of the information, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

  8. 08

    Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access to or correction of your personal information, withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, or raise a concern about our handling of your information. Some information may need to be retained or used despite a request where permitted or required by law.

  9. 09

    Cookies and similar technologies

This website sets a single strictly necessary cookie, which records your own cookie preferences so the consent banner is not shown again on every visit. Nothing else is set unless you choose it.

Analytics and marketing categories are presented in the consent banner and are switched off by default. No analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking script loads before you give consent for that category, and rejecting all optional categories is a single action requiring no more effort than accepting them. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the Cookie Policy page.

The Cookie Policy lists every cookie that may be set, its purpose, its category and its expiry.

  10. 10

Sensitive information, children and external links

Do not send passports, bank details, wallet credentials, payment instructions or other sensitive information by ordinary email unless we have directed you to an approved secure channel. The website is intended for business users and not for children. Links to third-party websites are governed by those parties’ own notices and practices.

  11. 11

    Changes and contact

We may update this notice when our services, practices or legal obligations change. The effective date below identifies the current version. Questions, requests or complaints may be sent to contact@aurevonpay.com with the subject line ‘Privacy enquiry’.

  12. 12

    Lawful basis for processing

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies to our processing, we rely on the following bases. Responding to an enquiry you send us, and the steps taken at your request before any agreement: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps. Operating and securing the website, maintaining business records, and assessing a proposed business relationship: our legitimate interests in running and protecting a regulated business, balanced against your interests and rights. Financial-crime, record-keeping and reporting obligations: compliance with a legal obligation. Optional analytics or marketing cookies: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object to the processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where we rely on consent, withdrawing it does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

  13. 13

    Retention periods

Website enquiries that do not proceed to a business relationship are retained only for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and to keep a record of the contact, and are then deleted. Enquiries that lead to onboarding are retained under the record-keeping obligations that apply to a Canadian money services business, which require records to be kept for the periods prescribed by applicable law. Consent preferences are retained for the lifetime of the consent cookie set out in the Cookie Policy. Security and access logs held by our hosting provider are retained on that provider’s standard cycle.

  14. 14

EU and UK data subject rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to request access to your personal data; to request rectification of inaccurate data; to request erasure; to request restriction of processing; to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests; to data portability where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means; and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@aurevonpay.com with the subject line ‘Privacy enquiry’. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some information may need to be retained where retention is required or permitted by law — in particular where financial-crime record-keeping obligations apply.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the United Kingdom this is the Information Commissioner’s Office; in the European Economic Area it is the supervisory authority of your member state. In Canada, concerns may be raised with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. We would ask that you raise the matter with us first so we have the opportunity to resolve it.
